Nolands

Our family’s story

Situated at up to 225 meters above sea level on the rolling Marlborough Downs in Wiltshire, Nolands Farm has been the home & livelihood of three generations of the Wilkins Family for over 30 years.

Today, Nolands is home to Steve & Sue Wilkins & their two children Mike & Chloe, but The Wilkins family have been farming in Wiltshire for four generations. Originally, Steve’s grandfather began farming in 1937 with 16 milking cows on a tenanted farm in Semington. Eventually, they were able to purchase the farm & Steve’s parents, Gerald & Sue, were able to grow the dairy & later also a successful contracting business.

In 1989, an opportunity arose for Gerald & Sue to move to Nolands Farm in Yatesbury and to begin arable farming, fulfilling a dream & ambition of Steve’s. This is where the story of Nolands really begins.
